SONU NIGAMS LIVE IN CONCERT

ok so lets start guyz ... sonu nigam show was there in bangalore on 31st oct .. incidently this day Mrs Indira Gandhi was shot dead. ok common let me now not shift from the main topic... ok back to sonu ... so many distractions hai yaar life mein ki kya bataoo tum logon ko re .... ;-) ...

actually i milindand sheetal had been for that show ... initially i and sheetal were not going to go for the event as we had homeworks lectures etc etc ... and believe it or not milind was going to go alone for the show ... we were like sala yeh banda kaisee jaa sakta akele yeh show ke liye per i guess FANS are like that only ... may be avanti can answer that better ... :-) ... actually the previous day i and sheetal were seeing one program called INDIAN IDOL (search for a singer who will get 1Cr Rs) ... on sony TV there sonu was the judge re ... he sang one song at the end of the show .. it was sung soo well ki kya bataoo ... immediately we decided bahut ho gaya .. sonu bangalore aa raha hai aur hum naa jayee kaisee hoo sakta .... lets GO .... raat ko 12 baje ticket walee ko phone kiya aur puucha ki tickets available hai kya ... 200 / 400 / 600 / 800 ke tickets thee ... humne bola 800 ke hai kya .. woh bola hai ... hum bole we want 2 tickets ... because milind nee pehle hi liyee thee tickets ... then woh bola ki kal call karte 9 baje aur 10 baje ko tickets lake deete tum long ko ghar pee .. i mean free home delivery yaar .. sahi na ... we got a call the next day ... got both the tickets ... and guess what show was going to start at 730 and it was drizzling the whole day ... shaam ko 6baje toh kafi barish huee ... humko laga ki hum hagee joor see tickets leeke ... but then 630 pm rain stopped and we were off to Palace grounds where the show was supposed to be ....


reached there ... milind kahan toh ghum hoo gaya .. per finally we met inside ... kafi theek thaak types seats milee ... then 830 ko show start hua .... initially sonu sang the first song praying to GOD .... it goes like this ... vakratunda mahakare ....... i guess those of you who have seen mahabharat would remember the tune... and i tell it was just amazing ... we could not believer that it was sonu who was singing .. his voice is like just toooooooooooo gud .. and the system was like crystal clear yaar ... aisa lag raha thaa ki CD see play hoo raha thaa ..... after the initial worship to god .... came one guy named RANA .... he sang the most HOTTEST song on indian cinema tooday ... ie from murder ... "O Ohhh Ooooo" he sang it soo well that we really could not imaging how good it would be if sonu sings yaar ..... phir ayii SOUMYA RAO .. she is an upcoming singer from Bangalore who has done playback for a few latest hindi songs .. :-) .. she also sang well ... btw whe was very pretty ... rather her dressing sense was very good :-) ./..... ok i forgot to mention the host for the show was Ruby Bhatia ... kuch toh panchat giri kar rahii thii woh beech beeech mein ... general re .. nothing special .... then came the moment the whole crowd was waiting for ... MR SONU NIGAM ... his entry saw many girls skipping couple of heart beats ... (personally i dont think he is that cute ... but neways ... ).... sonu then started singing ... HE sang ...
SATHIYA :- in this song he had 3 pair of dancers dancing behind him and he was singing on the ramp.... the song sounded exactly like the way it is played from a CD. just amazing man ... and guess what the dances did the same steps as it was in the film .. they were so very well choreographed ki kya bolu u...

MAIN HOO NA :- Tumsee milke dil ka joh haal , Main hoo na title track ... both were very very well sung ...

Pyar tune kya kiya :- Kambakth ISHQ ..... very well done again ...

PARDES :- yeh dil ... deeewaana ... another one to which the crowd was singing with him ....

DEWANA :- deewana ... uske album ka gana hai ek .. if you guyz remember ..

BIJURIYA :- another of his albums ... to this he also danced ... if you guyz have seen this vedio .. he did the same steps ...

K3G :- You r my sonia ... yeh song jab gaya na usnee tab toh pura standing public naachne laga re ... mereko bhi nachne ka bahut maan kar raha thaa per nahin naacha tab ...
Suraj hua madham ... this was the song with which he started the show .. it was just wonderfully sung as is the song ... just too good yaar ...

KHNH :- Title track ... If is one of the most wonderful songs every made. really just listen to the lyrics .. they are just too good ... when he was singing this song he mentioned one incidence when he was in pakistan ie in april 2004 .. during his show ... there was a bomb blast in a bus standing just where the show was being held ... he also told us to take our mobiles out and put on the back light and wave ... it was another amazing site ... since we were sitting in the front few rows ... when we turned back it was like some 20000 torches all waving ... it was a glimse of the night .... very touching though ...

Mujhse shadi karoogi :- Jeene ke hai chaar din .... it is fultu tapori song .. esp if you have seen the movie.. this song has salman as usual nanga punga and dancing on the beach with some 500 bikini clad girls around .. there is one step in this song where in he is wearing towel .. fairly long one ;-) and moving another towel with both is hands under his legs ... i guess that was a really bad description but u must see this song ... i tell you ;-) ... yeh ganee pee bhi public nanchne laga re ...

Soldier :- tera rang ballee balle .. tera ruup balle balle ... naiyoo naiyoo .... sahi gana hai yaar yeh .. this was the last song he sang ... and it was like he made even the old ppl stand up and dance ... now even we all stood up and danced away to gloory in the middle of the night .. it was just amazing ... dancing with some 20K odd people ... with pounding music ... i mean pounding means it was pounding right in our hearts ... we had to shout in each others ears to convey whatever little we wanted to convey to each other ... just amazing feeling .. i guess the effect can be compared standing near one of those huge set of speakers on boat club during the fun fair ... remember good old coep days .. those were another amazing set of days ... ok avoiding further diversions ... :-) ...


also in between sonus younger sister sang the most popular song in india now .... DHOOM ... ie ISHQ ISHQ .... it was sung exactly the way sunidhi sings it .. i guess sunidhi is the original singer ... also SOUMYA RAO sang a couple of song that i cant remember as of now ... :-( ...


can u imagine the show ended at around 12 midnight ... none of us had any food .... when we came out it was like everybody was singing some or the other song ...

now after that we did not know where we would get food ...
so we decided to go to barista on 100 ft road it is usually open till 1am but guess what when we reached there it was like they were closing down ... so we decided to go to barista at leela palace ... and guess what we found ourselves at barista at 1am ... no comments about leeela .. :-) .. it is just too good ... guess what at the price of normal barista rates u are gettting the ambience of leela .. cant ask for more .. we had snacks .... digested the fact that we had seen one of the best live shows till date and then even relaxed and chilled out a bit at the LEELA ... uff what an amazing day it was ... really one of the most memorable days in my life ... at leela milind was telling that yeh show deekhne ke baad life mein alag saa ek joosh saa aaa gaha hai .... ek aisa feeling which tells u ki ... sala routine life toh chalta raheega ... we need something extra to bring that EXTRA thing into our lives nahin toh wohi roooz ka routine ...
