Last to last weekend i had planned a nice surprise for my parent. I and dada planned it out. (dada lives in panvel, mumbai)Since dada was going to bhilai on june 2nd we could not meet then so we decided lets meet on 20th may in pune. Dada would come as usual and parents would be knowing about it ... but ma and baba would not be knowing that i would be coming to pune ... "Surprize Pune Visit" ...Guess what ! once i reached the Bangalore railway station to start for pune ... the train was 2 hrs late and it was very very hot. The journey was also too tiring and extremely dehydrating. Guess what i drank 3 lts of water in 6-8 hrs and was still feeling dry.
neways once i reached pune station ... ma and baba were not there to pic up ... had got used to it soo much that i was seeing outside the window as the train entered pune station platform no 1 just to check if ma and baba had come in ( just in case dada broke the silence) ... I also waiting for a good 2 min to check if anybody was around .. but no one was there .. sob sob .. so went to the prepaid stand took a auto and went home. It was around 815 am or soo ... (the train made up for the 2 hrs delay.)
once i was near home dada called me to check where i am ... at that time i was barely just 150 m away from home. from the rick i saw dad and dada standing in the balcony. Dada saw me and conveniently took baba inside. My plan was to call up ma and baba ... talk to them and then do TING TONG. and while on the phone i wanted them to open the door. It almost worked that way. I called up home ... baba picked the phone and told ma that shona as called. :-)) ... barely i could speak anything that dada opened the door ... Grrrr .. Grrr... may be he was getting impatient as to y the hell i am calling from across the door. So ma saw me ... she was like ... aaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuh ... how are u here ... she was just dazzzzzzzzzed so was baba ... mom initially could not digest the fact that her younger son was just in front of her :-) ... she was soo happy ..... Within minutes she told me that we have luchi (puris) for bfast .. i was like .. yummy mummy .. luchi is one of my favourites... then while she was making the stuff .. me dada and baba were discussing something in the drawing room ... then ma came out with the atta ka goola (dough) in her hand ... and she said ...i am soo happy to see both my sons together ...i had been waiting for this moment for long. It feels so great and guess what ... she just broke down ... tears rolled down her cheeks ... She immediately went into the kitchen. me dada and dad looked at each other and all of us had our eyes wet. We all could feel the emotional that we could not express... there was a silence of a minute or soo ... as soon as i realized that there was too much of a silence .. i went into the kitchen and held ma and told her ... we all are extremely happy for this moment. .... It was one of my most memorable moments in my life ... .... :-)
Now going again to pune day after .. this time its not a surprize. So ma and baba will be at the station :-) .. yeah ...
